Welcome to the official website of the Veteran Car Club of W.A

The inaugural meeting of the Veteran Car Club of WA Inc was held on 3 December 1958. In 1982 the Club, in conjunction with the WA Car Club, built their own clubrooms and spare parts shed on land leased from the Kalamunda Shire. These premises are also home to the Vintage Motor Cycle Club [Inc.] which is one of a number of clubs affiliated to the VCC of WA (Inc.) in the metropolitan area and in seven country locations [Geraldton, Albany, Busselton, Collie, Kalgoorlie, Peel Districts, Katanning, MidWest, Esperance and York ].

There are more than 1100 members of the VCC of WA (Inc.) whose objectives through the Club are to encourage the restoration, preservation, exhibition and use of all vehicles more than 25 years old. The metropolitan Club has sections that specialise in Veteran cars [pre 1919], Vintage vehicles [1919-1930], Post-Vintage vehicles [1931- 25 years old] also incorporating Commercial vehicles, Single Marques and Military vehicles.

General Meetings are held at the Clubrooms on the 4th Thursday of each month when visitors and prospective members are very welcome to attend. You do not have to own a vehicle to join the Veteran Car Club, in fact, if you are contemplating buying or restoring an old car, join the Club and talk to people so as to avoid some of the pitfalls of old cars.
